I am thrilled to announce that I am organising the local BSBI Plant Hunt this year!*

The Botanical Society of Britain & Ireland (BSBI) New Year Plant Hunt represents an opportunity to participate in an annual plant recording tradition. This is a chance for Arklow’s botanical, environmental and horticultural enthusiasts to meet and catalogue the local wild flora. The plan is to spend up to three hours strolling the banks of the Avoca and Duck Pond cataloguing and recording the wildflowers in bloom in the area.

I am currently on maternity leave until Summer 2026 and there are no upcoming walks planned right now, but keep an eye on this page for upcoming events.
